is from Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Prior to joining yachting in 1997, Geraint spent four years on his electrical apprenticeship working on boats in Brisbane. His experience as an electrician and his love for travel “sparked” his interest in engineering on yachts. Geraint’s favorite place traveled so far has been South Africa, and he has also spent a great deal of time in the South Pacific and the Mediterranean. He also enjoys scuba diving (PADI Rescue Certified), fishing and football.
