David Pringle - Second Master
Dave is from Perth, Western Australia. He spent seven years in the hospitality industry in Australia, specializing in hotel and restaurant management. Subsequently Dave worked in London and traveled around the world for six and a half years. Some of his favorite places visited during his travels include South Africa, Turkey and Croatia. In 1998, Dave decided that a career in yachting would satisfy his wanderlust while also utilizing his experience in the hospitality industry. He followed in the footsteps of his two siblings and took to the high seas. Dave joined Cakewalk in 2000 and was given the opportunity to further his skills and yachting career attaining a Master of Yachts 3000T license in 2003. Dave captained the 150' Cakewalk and looks forward to being behind the helm of the new Cakewalk! In his leisure time, Dave enjoys snowboarding, motorbike riding and mixing music. |
