Craig Maree - Deckhand

Craig loves anything to do with the ocean. He spent his childhood growing up in Durban right next to a major harbor port and yacht club. He started his career as a lifeguard and is very proud of becoming a coast guard helicopter rescue swimmer. He eventually found his way into the hotel industry and worked at Club Med Resorts. Craig was introduced to yachting though a close friend and quickly transitioned into the yachting industry.

Craig has excelled in yachting and he has become a Jet Ski instructor as well achieving his Yachtmaster license. Next on the list he would like to obtain his Officer of the Watch license. Craig is always looking to improve himself and strives to become a great leader in hopes of one day becoming a big boat captain himself.

Craig loves all water sports especially big wave surfing. Always on the search for good waves, his favorite places traveled have been Thailand, Bali, Japan and Hawaii. One day he hopes to visit all of French Polynesia and is eager to master big wave, tow-in surfing.
